Here is one of my black minerals. I like this Manganite because of the woven-like pattern of the lustrious crystals in the aggregate. it is from the Caland pit, Atikokan, Hutchingston Township, Rainy River District, Ontario, Canada. The specimen measures 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" (9.53cm x 5.72cm). (Author: Jim Prentiss)
