The Frauenberger Einigkeit mine is one of the oldest Siegerland locations for Rhodochrosite. It produced scalenohedrons up to 3 cm long before the famous Wolf mine specimens were known. Neunkirchen rhodochrosites are extremely rare! (Author: Andreas Gerstenberg)
