"Float Silver" Cobalt area 8x3.5x.5 cm A piece of float silver from the cobalt area. Many of the silver veins were exposed on surface, during glaciation the some silver was removed and deposited further south as the glaciers travelled. ’Glen Caladale’, Loch Eynort, Isle of Skye, Scotland, UK The stilbite locality (and the laumontite locality) is in the huge boulders on the wave-cut platform to the right of the big cave - which is approx. 25m high ! The beach to the left of the cave is surprisingly devoid of minerals.
